Envy.
These babies are fighting over baby wipes! Look at the toys all around them! Makes no sense.
We don’t do that anymore, do we?
I want one…WAHHHHHHH!
Dave Ramsey says it like this… Read in your best whiny “I want one” voice.
I want…
- a new bass boat!
- a shinier wedding ring!
- those shoes!
- that purse!
- that new truck!
- that gaming system

We often buy stuff just to have more stuff.
Look at the toys all around you!
I say it like this.
I once had no payments, now I am paying for my wants. Now I’m paying for my needs, because I need to have no payments.
I might put this to music and send it to Dave Ramsey.

Jesus teaches something to those who were following him.
They said, “This is a hard teaching, who can accept it?”
Many of them deserted Jesus and no longer followed him.
Jesus asked the rest of them, “You do not want to leave too, do you?”
Peter, one of the original “theys” spoke for the rest of them and said, “To whom shall we go?”
Shouldn’t that say, where shall we go? Whom? Obviously, the many that deserted Jesus and went to follow someone else’s teaching.
- Someone who didn’t require change?
- Someone who made them feel more comfortable?
To Whom Shall You Go?
Interesting, Jesus did not chase them. Did Jesus not love them? I am sure it broke Jesus’ heart to see them leave. I wonder who they ended up following?

Duane
