Make

Platypus

Duckbilled Platypus - That...is making

make:

  1. to bring into existence by shaping or changing material, combining parts, etc.: to make a dress; to make a channel; to make a work of art.

To bring into existence.

Most (probably all) excuses are made. We shape and mold them to fit our situations.

When called to:

  • forgive
  • serve
  • love
  • hope
  • joy
  • peace
  • patience
  • kindness
  • faithfulness
  • etc

We make (bring into existence) excuses.

  • Well I would…if
  • You don’t know what he/she did…
  • If I had a better job…
  • If I made more money…
  • If I worked less…
  • Etc.

God made.

Genesis 1

He made

In his image, we are made.

We have the ability to make. Why do we often waste our making on excuses?

Love,

Duane
